Looking over she saw Eddie, “Oh it’s you.” She rolled her eyes at his comment but she was smiling. They weren’t exactly dating, she broke up with him that time she found the messages. He hurt her and she didn’t know what to do. Patricia never really cried, she didn’t like crying, or at least in public.

She motioned for him to take a seat next to her, hopefully close. Patricia pulled her headphones out and placed her phone and headphones next to her so they could talk, or maybe not talk.

“Are you going to tell me you’re dating KT because I don’t want to hear it, I’d rather you just walk away now, or maybe you’re dating that internet girl you were so into. Like seriously, why did you do that? We had our problems but you didn’t have to flirt with someone else, or did you really not do it.. it was on your computer, and ugh, boys are so annoying, they never make any sense, and they just hurt you-“

Eddie made the decision to join her and sat beside her. He scooted over slightly so he was closer to her. He froze slightly as she talked. He didn’t say anything but continued to listen.

“Me and KT? Oh god Patricia that’s rich even for you. KT’s not my type at all. Those messages weren’t me Patricia. I didn’t send them. My laptop had disappeared and I didn’t think anything of it. I just thought it was lost in my room and I’d find it in a few days. Then you had it, and you were telling me you hated me. I had no clue about those messages until after, you ran off. I never meant to hurt you Patricia. I never have. I never wanted to.”

Eddie paused. He didn’t know what else to say. He still needed to figure out how to fix the entire mess from those stupid instant messages. Those stupid messages he didn’t send. He knew sorry wouldn’t fix it. He knew there was probably no way to fix it.

“But for what it’s worth I really am sorry about the messages. If though I didn’t send them.”

Although she wouldn’t admit it, Patricia enjoyed the outdoors. She found it calming and gave her time to think. Her and Eddie had just gotten back together after the whole her being possessed thing ended. She didn’t exactly remember anything, except for one part, but she was going to keep that a…

Eddie glanced outside his bedroom window. The sun was shining. It was strange to think how just a little bit ago the sky was turned red. He decided to embrace the sunshine before typical Liverpool weather reared its ugly head.

He grabbed his jacket from the hook on the door and pulled it on. He was outside faster then one could blink. He let his mind wander. Thinking about the past days. Mostly Patricia. She said she didn’t remember anything. The last thing she had said to him was that she hated him. He thought that rule still applied.

He rounded the corner. And did a brief double take. He was surprised to see her. They hadn’t exactly talked since everything went down. “If it isn’t the yacker.”
